Job summary

Stillwell Hotel in New South Wales seeks a talented Chef/Cook for the Summer 2026 season at Charlotte Pass Snow Resort. This seasonal, full‑time role is paid at casual rates and focuses on creating cafe‑style menus based on stock and supplier seasonality.

Stillwell Hotel is a renowned destination for summer getaways, offering a unique and unforgettable experience for our guests. We take pride in our culinary excellence and are currently seeking a talented and passionate Chef/Cook to join our team for the summer season.

Job Description:

Create seasonal cafe-style menus based on available stock and supplier seasonality.

There are also winter positions available for the right candidate when you can see the mountains transform into a Winter Wonderland.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage stock control and ordering, adhering to a food costed budget.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality and consistent taste.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chef or Cook in a commercial kitchen.
• Collaborate with the hotel team to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact with guests and providing excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a small kitchen team.
