Job summary

The Green on James Street is a family run, modern Mediterranean restaurant in Brisbane, serving breakfast and lunch seven days, with dinner Friday and Saturday nights. We cater for events and functions all week and are growing our kitchen team.

We are looking for qualified chefs at all levels to join our kitchen, including commis, CDP or sous chef, who take pride in their food and want to develop their craft.

Qualifications

• 3+ years current kitchen experience.
• Breakfast service experience is a big plus.
• Calm under pressure with good energy on a busy pass.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook bold, generous Mediterranean food from scratch
• Work breakfast and lunch service, with dinner shifts Friday and Saturday nights
• Maintain high standards of fresh, made in house food
• Perform calmly under pressure during busy service on the pass
• Contribute to a team environment on a busy kitchen
