The Chef is responsible for managing a specific station within the kitchen and overseeing the preparation of high-quality, nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of elderly residents. Working as part of a kitchen team, this role involves ensuring consistency, safety, and compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations. The will collaborate with the Head Chef, Team Leader Food Services and other kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared in large quantities, while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring all dietary requirements (including texture-modified diets) are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of the nutritional and dietary needs of elderly residents.
To be considered for this role you must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or permanent resident. The successful applicant must satisfactorily complete all pre-employment checks, including National Police Check.
