Job summary

Austal is seeking a Change Management Specialist to provide advisory services across the SSA Transformation Program. You will identify and treat change risks and help develop change management capability among project managers and leaders.

The role focuses on delivering change management practices, governance, and collaboration with Project Managers, Leaders and stakeholders to support national-significance projects in the SSA Enterprise.

Qualifications

• Hold at least 1 Change Management certification at practitioner level or higher.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive work relationships across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Application of Organisation Change Management methodologies and frameworks.
• 5+ years' experience leading, facilitating and managing change in complex organisation environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Change Management advisory services to projects and capability initiatives across the SSA Enterprise.
• Identify and treat change management risks while supporting development of change management capability amongst project managers and leaders.
• Develop and implement change management plans, processes, tools and activities across initiatives.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Leaders and stakeholders to implement change strategies.
• Governance and reporting in line with SSA Transformation Program requirements.

About the Opportunity

This position provides Change Management Specialist advisory services to projects and capability initiatives across the SSA Enterprise, aligned with the Transformation Program. The Change Management Specialist is responsible for identifying and treating change management risks while supporting the development of change management capability amongst project managers and leaders.

What's Involved

• Change management of projects and initiatives as directed by the Change Manager to support delivery of the SSA Transformation Program
• Manage a program of projects running various levels of change management advisory and specialist services across the SSA Enterprise
• Collaborate in developing implementing project change plans with Project Managers, Leaders, and stakeholders
• Implement change management practices, processes, tools and activities
• Technical and change leadership development of Leaders, Change Champions and Project Managers
• Governance and Reporting complying with SSA reporting requirements including
