Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Australia is seeking a Change & Communications Lead to drive transformation across large-scale programs in Sydney. You will shape transformation narratives, build playbooks, and embed consistent change practices with senior leadership partnership.
Leverage your 8+ years of change management and communications experience to deliver measurable outcomes, improve leadership readiness, and foster sustainable capability across complex, matrixed teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in organisational change management and communications within complex transformation environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing change and communications playbooks.
- Proven ability to partner with Internal Communications and Strategy functions to deliver cohesive transformation narratives.
- Prior experience in media, technology or similarly complex, fast-paced industries preferred.
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior leadership stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and embed a consistent change approach across TDD using an Align, Analyse, Action, Adapt methodology.
- Conduct change impact assessments across programs covering people, process, technology and culture impacts.
- Build readiness assessments, change risk tracking, success measures and adoption measures.
- Establish change governance, RACI frameworks and delivery cadence in alignment with the Project Roadmap.
- Partner with the allocated Project Manager and Coordinator to ensure change activity is integrated into program delivery plans.
- Develop transformation narratives, messaging frameworks and communication plans across TDD Connect, Amplify and Leap.
- Ensure all communications clearly convey the rationale, impacts and benefits of transformation to relevant employee cohorts.
- Support leadership communications and change storytelling to build confidence and momentum across the organisation.
- Design and develop change and communications playbooks to support consistent delivery of transformation across TDD programs.
- Translate methodology, frameworks and lessons learned into practical, accessible playbook content for use by leaders, people managers and teams.
- Ensure playbooks are aligned to the TDD operating model and ways of working transformation objectives.
- Iterate playbook content as programs progress and new insights emerge.
- Map and manage stakeholders across Technology, Product, Editorial, Corporate Functions and leadership groups.
- Ensure employees understand the rationale, impacts and benefits of transformation.
- Support development of change and communications capability across leaders, people managers and teams.
- Enable sustainable internal capability through coaching, tools, frameworks and knowledge transfer.
- Design and deliver end-to-end organisational change strategies for large-scale transformation programs.
- Develop change and communications playbooks tailored to complex, matrixed organisations.
- Conduct comprehensive change impact and readiness assessments.
- Partner with Internal Communications and Strategy to produce cohesive, audience-appropriate communications.
- Translate AI-enabled and technology change into practical adoption plans

- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Business, Organisational Psychology, Change Management or a related field.
- Prosci ADKAR, APMG Change Management or equivalent certification highly regarded
- 8+ years' experience in organisational change management and communications within complex transformation environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing change and communications playbooks.
- Proven ability to partner with Internal Communications and Strategy functions to deliver cohesive transformation narratives.
- Prior experience in media, technology or similarly complex, fast-paced industries preferred.
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior leadership stakeholders.
