Job summary

FY Smile in Sydney is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support dentists and clinicians, ensuring patients have a seamless, comfortable experience and that rooms are prepared and sterilised to the highest standard.

Ideal candidates have minimum 2 years chairside assisting, experience with implant procedures such as All-on-4 and cosmetic dentistry, strong communication, and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years chairside assisting experience.
• Experience in implant assisting, All-on-4, and cosmetic dentistry highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and patient-care mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment with warmth and professionalism.
• Assist dentists, hygienists, and therapists chairside, including suctioning and managing materials.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and materials are sterilised to high standards.
• Maintain surgery cleanliness and infection control compliance.
• Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, records management, and payments.
• Monitor stock, inventory and sterilisation data.
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring of junior staff.
