Job summary

Tweedcoastgwm on the Gold Coast, QLD, seeks an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the group’s finances in a hands-on executive role.

Based on-site, the package is $160,000–$180,000 plus commission and a company vehicle, with automotive dealership accounting experience essential.

The CFO will drive cash flow, budgeting, stock control, capex, and performance across New/Used Cars, Service, Parts and F&I, embracing AI and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance or accounting within a car dealership or automotive dealer group.
• Strong cash-flow management and profitability analysis skills.
• Hands-on, commercially minded with ability to lead and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee group financial reporting, management accounts and balance sheets.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and treasury activities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across the group.
• Monitor stock levels, floorplan funding and profitability by department.
• Improve internal controls, compliance and cost efficiency across the network.
• Provide clear, practical financial information to management and principals.
