Withaturnoverexceeding$100m, multiple concurrent projects and both civil infrastructure and commercial construction operations, there is genuine scale and complexity to influence-without the layers of a large corporate.Having a strong regionaltrack recordandinfluence thebusinessgenerally targetsprojects around $5m–$10m, while selectively taking on larger work and having successfully delivered projects above $30m.
Your role is to help the business see what is coming, not simply report what has already happened.
You will strengthen forecasting, costcontroland project-commercial discipline across the group, bringing together project performance, programmes, contracts, financialinformationand risk.
Your priorities will include:
You will combine senior-level commercial judgement with a willingness to get into the detail when it matters.Your financial background has seen you gravitate towards leading rather than lag indicators but you still know how to manage and develop the finance team for compliance and reporting matters.
You are likely to come from civil infrastructure, construction, contracting or another project-based environment where project margins, contracts and forecasting are central to performance.
You will bring:
Qualifications may come from construction management, quantity surveying, law,accountingor finance. More important is deep hands-on construction-commercial experience.
Relevant backgrounds may include Commercial Director, CFO, Head of Commercial or senior project-commercial leadership roles.
