Job summary

Macquarie Hospital North Ryde, part of NSW Health, is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Gardener with Certificate to join the Facilities Department.

You will maintain lawns, gardens and landscaping, perform planned and urgent maintenance, and support the engineering team. Certificate III in Parks and Gardens and a NSW Driver's Licence are required, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Parks and Gardens or equivalent relevant qualification.
• NSW Driver's Licence and gardening knowledge of plants and species.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills with customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens and landscaping across the campus.
• Perform planned and urgent preventative and corrective tasks.
• Complete AFM work dockets, including feedback, inventory and maintenance reports.
• Provide support to the engineering team as required.
• Manage a varied workload with competing priorities.
• Be trained in machinery such as ride-on mowers and skid steers.
