Job summary

OTR Tyre Technician position at our Greater Tom Price operation in WA. You will report to clients and work independently on site, applying your tyre fitting expertise in a mining environment.

We seek candidates with at least 2 years of OTR tyre experience on mine sites, a Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology, and the required licences. FIFO from Perth with an 8:6 roster is offered and safety is our priority.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of OTR tyre fitting experience on mine sites.
• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology AUR21920 or equivalent.
• Valid HR licence (Heavy Vehicle).
• Current WorkSafe forklift (LF) licence.
• Ability to work autonomously with a strong safety focus.

Job description

In Western Australian alone, we have a presence on over 45 mining operations and, due to continued growth and internal movement, we are currently seeking a OTR Tyre Technician for our Greater Tom Price operation in WA. You would be required to present/report to the client and be able to work independently.

ABOUT YOU

• Preferably a minimum of 2 years of OTR tyre fitting experience on mine sites
• You must hold a Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology AUR21920 or equivalent
• A valid and current Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence (minimum of an HR licence)
• A current WorkSafe forklift (LF) licence
• Possess a high level of maturity, initiative and the ability to work to meet targets
• An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
• Ability to work autonomously
