Job summary

Big Childcare is seeking an experienced Outside School Hours Care Centre Manager to lead the Regent College service in Victoria. You will oversee daily operations, guide Educators, develop meaningful after-school programs, and foster strong ties with families and local schools.

This role requires leadership in OSHC/early childhood, relevant checks, and an ACECQA approved diploma; the package includes above-award pay, wage retention, and career growth opportunities.

We're currently seeking an experienced and motivated Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Centre Manager to lead our vibrant service at Regent College.

About the Role

As a Centre Manager, you'll lead the daily operations of your OSHC service, support a team of passionate Educators, create meaningful programs, build strong community relationships and ensure quality care after school.

You’ll work across split shifts Monday to Friday:

Before School Care: 6:30am - 8:30am

After School Care: 3:15 pm to 6:00pm

Total hours per week: 38 (including admin time)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of an OSHC service.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate programs.
• Build positive relationships with families, schools and the wider community.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Manage enrolments, staffing rosters, budgets and service administration.

You're a confident and capable leader with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting your team. You thrive in dynamic environments and bring energy, professionalism and care to everything you do.

You'll have:

• A valid WA Working With Children Check.
• A National Criminal History Clearance Certificate (issued from the Dept of Education) valid within the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain).
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Any relevant diploma qualification (ACECQA Approved) will be considered for this position.
• Mandatory Child Protection Training Certificate.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate.
• Food Safety Certificate.
• Rights to work in Australia.
