Job summary

Belgravia Leisure seeks a Centre Manager to lead the team and deliver exceptional customer experience at our facility. You will be responsible for the Centre’s operations, team management and community engagement, with full accountability for financial and program deliverables.

This is a year-round position. The role requires a minimum of 5 years leadership experience in leisure or an aquatic facility, strong safety knowledge, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leadership experience in a similar leisure or aquatic facility.
• Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win–win outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and people plans to successful outcomes.
• National Police Check
• Working with Children Check
• Legal working rights in Australia
• Current CPR Certificate
• Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
• Understanding of local government processes
• Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Pool Operations Certificate

Responsibilities

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Centre Manager to lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experience at our facility. Responsible for the management of this fantastic facility, the team at the Centre and our local community, you are fully accountable for the Centre’s operational, financial and program deliverables. This is a year round position.

Key Accountabilities

• Achievement of budgeted performance targets.

• Train staff as required to ensure that knowledge and capability are at the required levels to enable staff to carry out their work and achieve their objectives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
