Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking an experienced Centre Director in Western Australia to lead the daily operations of a childcare centre, ensuring full compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.

You will mentor educators, oversee staffing rosters and budgets, build strong partnerships with families and the local community, and drive the Centre Quality Improvement Plan to remain Audit-ready and deliver outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Educational Leadership & Compliance: Lead and oversee the daily operational performance of the centre in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Team Mentorship & Growth: Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture. Mentor, guide, and develop educators to ensure high-quality pedagogical practices.
• Operational & Financial Management: Manage staffing rosters, daily enrolments, occupancy growth, and operational budgets to ensure service sustainability.
• Community & Family Engagement: Build open, trust-based partnerships with families, local community stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Continuous Quality Improvement: Drive the Centre Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and ensure ongoing readiness for Assessment and Rating (A&R).
