Job summary

Ascolta Early Learning and Care in Sorrento, WA, is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our 88-place centre. You will guide a passionate team, collaborate with families, and ensure high-quality education aligned with EYLF and NQS.

The role offers strong leadership responsibility with support from Area and Operations Managers, and opportunities to impact occupancy and community engagement. WA working rights required.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Centre Director role (long daycare).
• WA Working with Children Check required.
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
• Strong understanding of NQF and passion for high-quality education.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, engaging, and safe environment for children and families.
• Oversee daily operations with a focus on excellence and compliance.
• Build a strong community presence and foster positive family relationships to support occupancy growth.
• Manage team performance, development, and wellbeing.
• Roster to maintain ratios and act as Responsible Person when required.
• Ensure high-quality education aligned with EYLF and NQS.
• Act as Nominated Supervisor for the service.
