Job summary

MindChamps Early Learning Glenroy is seeking an enthusiastic Centre Chef to lead daily kitchen operations and prepare nutritious meals for children aged 0–6 years. You will work with the Centre Manager and Educators to support healthy eating and development.

You will ensure meals meet dietary requirements, maintain high food safety standards, and collaborate with staff to create positive mealtimes for children in our Glenroy centre.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Experience preparing nutritious meals for children is highly regarded.
• Current Victorian Working With Children Check and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–6 years.
• Cater for allergies, intolerances, and dietary needs.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
• Manage kitchen stock, ordering, storage, and inventory control.
