Job summary

Lloyd Brothers Pty Ltd in McLaren Vale invites a Cellar Door and Wine Club Manager to join our team. You will deliver an exceptional visitor experience while overseeing and growing our online Direct-to-Consumer business, working alongside our Marketing Manager.

We seek a friendly, enthusiastic wine lover with strong customer service who can lead a small team, manage memberships, and ensure licensing, safety and quality across a breathtaking cellar door at our historic estate.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RSA certification and a valid driver's licence.
• Ideal candidate has management experience.
• Passion for wine and gourmet produce with excellent guest service.
• Ability to work independently or in a small team and weekends.
• Experience growing wine club memberships and handling customer data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cellar Door day-to-day operations and guest experience.
• Conduct tasting experiences and drive wine club signups and sales.
• Maintain Cellar Door and customer area presentation and cleanliness.
• Grow Wine Club membership and manage customer information in the sales platform.
• Handle phone and online enquiries, packing and dispatching orders.
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food service and OH&S policies.

Job description

We are looking for a person to join our team as the Cellar Door and Wine Club Manager, responsible for delivering an exceptional visitor experience, whilst overseeing and growing our online Direct-to-Consumer business. Working alongside our Marketing Manager, the successful candidate is friendly, enthusiastic, who has a passion for wine and gourmet produce, enjoys meeting new people and who has a warm and engaging personality.

Key responsibilities

Lead the Cellar Door day to day operations, ensuring a well presented and welcoming environment for visitors

Conduct tasting experiences, able to reflect the premium yet approachable nature of our brand across our wine and estate produce, whilst driving sales and wine club signups

Maintain all Cellar Door and customer areas to a consistently high standard of presentation and cleanliness

Grow our Wine Club membership, whilst accurately managing customer information across our sales platform

Work in a positive and collaboratively manner alongside our Marketing Manager and Wedding and Events Manager, delivering exceptional visitor experiences

Manage phone and online enquires, including the packing & dispatching of orders

Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food service regulations, and occupational health and safety policies

About you

A person with a passion for wine, who enjoys providing memorable guest experiences

Have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

Calm under pressure, highly organised, a self-starter with initiative and capable of working independently or within a small team

Available to work at least one weekend day

Experience in management would be an advantage

Must hold a current RSA certification and a valid driver's license
