Job summary

Borg Central Coast, NSW, AU is seeking a Security Technician - Installer to join our Electrical team in Somersby. You will install CCTV and access control systems, cabling and related security equipment across commercial projects.

Ideal candidates will have cabling experience, a NSW driving licence, WHS white card and the ability to work with builders and project managers. Training and development for apprentices is provided in a growing, Australian-owned company.

Qualifications

• Current NSW driving licence
• Current WHS white card
• Ability to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers
• Proven ability to work in a team and independently
• Willingness to train apprentices and uphold high workmanship standards
• Knowledge of installing Structured Cabling Systems
• Ability to read electrical/architectural drawings

Responsibilities

• Install CCTV and Access Control systems on diverse projects
• Work within the Electrical team across commercial, industrial and maintenance scopes
• Interpret electrical and architectural drawings and schematics
• Assist with commissioning of security systems and cabling installations
• Support training of apprentices and promote safe working practices
