Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education Office’s St Eugene College in Burpengary seeks a Secondary Teacher (Humanities) to teach a blend of HPE, Religious Education and English, aligning with Catholic Education values. The role supports pastoral care and student outcomes in a dynamic Prep-12 environment.

Qualifications

Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
Ability to teach Humanities with potential to cover HPE, Religious Education and English.

Responsibilities

Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
Collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs and pedagogy; assess and report student progress.
Work with the leadership team and staff to contribute to positive school culture.
Engage in professional learning to enhance student outcomes.
Establish positive pastoral relationships and support spiritual and moral development.
Ensure Catholic Church teachings form a foundation for learning and teaching.
