Summary

St Eugene College are seeking a Humanities Teacher with the ability to teach a combination of the following subjects: HPE, Religious Education, and English and who can ignite a passion for learning in our students, while embodying the values, mission, and principles of Catholic Education!

• Contract date: Term 4, 2026 - End of 2026 school year
• Work hours:30.00
• Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum + 12.75% Super
• Status:Full Time Fixed Term/Variation

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
• Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community
• Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture
• Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes
• Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development
• Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.

• Creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum
