Job summary

Western NSW Local Health District's Orange Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. This role supports diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease in a fast-paced cath lab, with a focus on improving patient outcomes.

You will work with cardiologists, radiographers and the nursing team, performing angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions and stent placements, and you'll have mentoring and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with cardiology or critical care experience.
• Experience in cath lab procedures such as angiograms and pacemaker insertions.
• On-call flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced cardiology environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Catheter Lab alongside cardiologists, radiographers and the nursing team.
• Involvement in life-saving procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions and stent placements.
• Participate in patient education and on-call duties as required.
