Job summary

First Nations Jobs is seeking a Catering Supervisor to join the Spotless team at Villawood Immigration Detention Centre, NSW. The role focuses on supervising daily catering operations, ensuring hygiene standards, and coordinating with Chefs to maintain service quality.

The position requires a Certificate III or higher in Kitchen Operations, Food Safety Certificates, and a Working with Children Check. Experience in commercial kitchens and HACCP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to supervise catering staff and ensure hygiene standards.
• Strong communication and coordination with chefs and head chefs.
• Sound knowledge of HACCP Food Safety guidelines and practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Catering Assistants and ensure cleanliness across service areas.
• Coordinate daily with Chefs and Head Chefs to ensure food prep and product availability.
• Monitor HACCP compliance and complete food safety documentation on time.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
• Assist with stocktakes and audits as required.
