Job summary

Nepean Private Hospital in Western Sydney is seeking a friendly Food Services Assistant to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. You will assist in daily food preparation, deliver and collect patient meals, and help with kitchen cleaning while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

The role requires good communication, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to patient and staff service.

Qualifications

• Authority to work in Australia
• Working with Children check (if relevant)
• Experience in aged care or hospital environment (desirable)
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements

About us

Nepean Private Hospital is in the multi-cultural Western Sydney City of Penrith. The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics. Nepean Private Hospital has eight operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
