Job summary

Opal HealthCare's Lansdowne Gardens on Mann Care Community in Sydney is seeking a friendly Catering Services Officer to deliver meals with care in our dining room and support residents through compassionate service.

You will work as part of a warm hospitality team, follow stringent food safety protocols, and help create moments of happiness for residents. Prior hospitality or customer service experience is beneficial, but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping people and making a difference in your community.
• Flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to learn across different areas of hospitality.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is beneficial, but not essential – we will train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Food Service: Deliver outstanding customer service in our dining room, serve meals with care, and know resident preferences.
• Work as a key part of a supportive team to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all residents.
• Follow strict safety, sanitary, and infection control protocols in all tasks.
