Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at Vimiera Village, Marsfield, NSW. The role involves helping with food prep, serving meals and snacks to residents, and maintaining kitchen and dining area cleanliness.

You will support food hygiene practices and provide fast, friendly service during peak times. The ideal candidate has prior experience in food prep, kitchen or customer service, strong teamwork, and the ability to work autonomously with priorities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food preparation, kitchen assistance, or customer service roles.
• Strong teamwork skills alongside the ability to work autonomously and manage priorities.
• High standards of personal presentation, hygiene, and professional conduct.
• Previous experience within the healthcare, aged care, or retirement sector (highly regarded).

Roster:

Monday - Friday 10:00am to 2:00pm

• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

The ideal candidate will have:
