Job summary

Catering Industries Pty Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join the kitchen team at an aged care facility in Woy Woy, NSW. Enjoy a flexible roster with Sunday to Thursday shifts from 3.00pm to 7.30pm, offering variety and structured patterns plus weekend and public holiday loadings.

You’ll provide meal service, assist in food preparation, clean serveries, and help with function set up. A current Federal Police Check is required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Aged Care experience is desirable, but not necessary.
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines
• Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff and clients.
• The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen.
• Well-presented and good customer service skills.
• Access to own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Providing meal service to elderly residents
• Cleaning of serveries and dining room set up
• Adhering to and completing quality assurance documents
• Washing dishes in the main kitchen and plating of meals
• Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen
• Function set up and clear down
• Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in day-to-day tasks
• Food and beverage service

We’re looking for enthusiastic Catering Assistants to become part of the vibrant kitchen team at our client’s aged care facility in Woy Woy, NSW. If you’re passionate about great food and love making a difference in the daily lives of older Australians, this is the role for you!

This roster is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, stability, and a well‑structured work pattern.

Choose your shifts: Sunday to Thursday from 3.00pm till 7.30pm.
