Job summary

Uniting Westmead is seeking a Casual Catering Assistant to support dining services for residents. You will provide timely catering, communicate dietary needs, and collaborate with care staff to ensure texture-modified meals and special diets are delivered with dignity.

Ideal candidates have hands-on hospitality experience, a Certificate III in Hospitality, and a Food Safety Certificate. Join a values-driven team focused on compassion and quality service at our Westmead facility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in hospitality or food services, including catering, cooking or kitchenhand roles.
• Certificate III in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification (highly desirable).
• Food Safety Certificate (Highly Desirable).
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a passion for nutritious meals.
• Experience in aged care or hospital settings is a bonus.
• You’re empathetic, adaptable and resourceful, with a commitment to service.
