Job summary

Morrison is seeking a Casual Catering Assistant for Marayong / Blacktown. Shifts include mornings (6:15am-2:15am) and afternoons (2:30-8pm or 3-8pm). You will assist in food preparation, serve meals, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Experience in healthcare or aged care is valued; a Police Clearance is preferred. Training is offered along with benefits that support your growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with electronic data entry into iPads or computers is highly regarded.
• Experience in healthcare or aged care sector is highly favoured, though not essential.
• Hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and ability to monitor service quality.

THE ROLE

• Assist in food preparation and sandwich-making
• Serving breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and evening meals
• Following all Food and Safety procedures
• Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas and with equipment
• Maintain stores and monitor stock where needed

THE PERSON

• Experience in the healthcare or aged care sector highly favoured, although not essential
• Hold a current National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and improve service quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Previous experience with electronic data entry into iPads or computers is highly regarded
