Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is hiring a Catering Assistant at Rockhampton Base Hospital, QLD. You will deliver friendly service, operate the POS, and assist with food preparation while supporting kitchen tasks and safety standards.

The casual role offers 25–30 hours per week with shifts across a 7-day roster, including mornings or evenings and possible weekend work. On-site parking and proximity to public transport support a balanced lifestyle.

THE PERSON

• Proactive and willing to take initiative to support the team and take on additional tasks as needed
• Ability to work well under pressure, independently, and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and procedures
• Genuine passion for and knowledge of WHS, Food Safety, and HACCP standards
