Job summary

AGL is seeking a Category Specialist to lead sourcing across diverse categories, driving value for money and supplier performance within procurement policy frameworks.

You will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, negotiating contracts and optimizing sourcing outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work options and a collaborative culture are offered in Sydney.

About The Role

As a Category Specialist, you will partner with key stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of SBES strategies, objectives, and procurement priorities. You will lead the delivery of best-practice sourcing and procurement activities across a diverse category portfolio, driving value for money, optimising supplier performance, and ensuring effective risk management and compliance with procurement policies and industry best practice.

Leveraging your strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, you will build productive relationships with both internal partners and external suppliers. Your ability to collaborate and drive outcomes will be key to delivering procurement solutions that support and advance SBES's strategic goals.

What You'll Be Doing
