Guild Insurance Limited is seeking a Head of Casualty Claims to lead the strategic and technical performance of our complex long-tail claims portfolio, including professional indemnity, public liability, and products liability. You will guide the function’s development, foster a safe team environment, and drive sound, commercially informed claims decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Significant leadership experience within general insurance casualty claims, across complex long-tail portfolios.
• Experience directing a claims function, developing leaders and setting clear standards for decisions.
• Deep knowledge of professional indemnity, public liability, products liability and high-value liability matters.

• Lead the strategy and development of the Casualty Claims function.
• Provide technical leadership across liability, coverage, litigation, reserving and settlements.
• Improve triage and management of long-tail claims and portfolios.
• Strengthen portfolio performance through disciplined claims management and cost controls.
• Develop leadership and technical capability within the team and uphold decision standards.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, Legal, Finance, Risk and Reinsurance on emerging risks.
