Job summary

Key Assets is seeking Casual Children and Young People Support workers to assist in the Sydney region, based out of Botany or Blacktown. You will support young people in OOHC, provide transport, and maintain thorough records.

Mileage is reimbursed and ongoing training is provided. Eligible candidates will have relevant certification, experience with complex needs or trauma, a valid NSW Working with Children Check, and a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience working directly with children/young people, including Teenagers, in the care system or related field.
• Be well-organised and an excellent communicator.
• Experience with children/young people with complex needs or trauma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structured supervision and observation of contact with family members, including activities on/off premises.
• Provide transportation/escort for children and young people when needed.
• Keep comprehensive records and prepare reports for reviews in line with Key Assets policies.
