Zusammenfassung

Orange Aboriginal Medical Service (OAMS) is seeking a Casual Yiriyirimbang Support Worker to assist children, young people and families within the Yiriyirimbang Program. You will transport, supervise Family Time visits, model positive parenting, and complete reports to support goals and wellbeing.

The role requires NSW Driver Licence, NSW Working with Children Check, and a commitment to cultural safety. Flexible hours include evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Experience working with Aboriginal children, young people, families and communities.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.

Aufgaben

• Safely transport children and families to appointments, family time visits, school, extracurricular activities and other required locations.
• Supervise and facilitate Family Time visits.
• Role model positive parenting skills and techniques.
• Complete accurate observation and Family Time reports.
• Support children and young people to achieve their individual goals.
• Work closely with Case Managers and the broader Yiriyirimbang team.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
• Report any child protection concerns in line with mandatory reporting requirements.
• Assist with general case management and administrative tasks as required.
