Job summary

Petstock Group is seeking Peak CASUAL Warehouse Assistants to join our distribution centres in Victoria. You will be part of a team handling picking, packing, stock control, loading and unloading, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

We offer AM or PM shifts, full training, and a supportive, diverse team culture. Applicants should be reliable, physically capable of lifting up to 20 kg, and able to work both independently and with others in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a pick-packer role in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Motivation & Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to consistently lift and carry stock (up to 20kg).
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities and work conditions.
• Health & Safety: A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Picking, Packing & Dispatching: Fulfill orders to a high standard and achieve excellent pick rates.
• Stock Control: Assist with receiving inbound goods, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Stock Integrity: Work alongside the team to maintain stock accuracy through replenishment, expiry date checks, and regular stock takes.
• Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload courier trucks.
• Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean, safe work environment and contribute to daily housekeeping tasks.
• General Warehouse Duties: Support with various tasks as directed by the team leader.
