Job summary

Family Centered Support Services is seeking Casual Team Members to support Children and Young People in Residential Out-of-Home Care across rural properties in Queensland. You will engage with young people with challenging behaviours and help them achieve social, educational, cultural, and emotional goals.

The role includes creating activity plans, documenting progress, and coordinating with stakeholders. A 24-hour shift model and mandatory paid training in Brisbane are part of the onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to document and report clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and basic IT.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a 24/7 shift model.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people to achieve social, educational, cultural and emotional goals.
• Oversee daily care and supervise residential activities.
• Develop and maintain Positive Behaviour Support Plans and progress reports.
• Liaise with stakeholders to share information and contribute to planning.
