St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn is seeking a Casual Support Worker for Samaritan House in Hackett, ACT. You will help create a welcoming, safe environment and support residents with daily needs, administration and hospitality tasks on a rotating roster.

The role requires a current driving licence, flexibility to work evenings, overnights and weekends, and completion of required police checks and WWVP/First Aid as applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people experiencing homelessness, crisis, mental health challenges or addiction.
• You know how to listen, build trust and connect people with the right support to help them move forward.
• Certificate IV in Community Services, Community Development or a related field is highly desirable.
