Job summary

Flinders Port Holdings is seeking casual stevedores for the Flinders Adelaide Container Terminal. The role involves securing containers, operating straddle carriers and forklifts (training provided), and teamwork to load and unload cargo.

You must be fit to lift up to 30 kg and commit to shift work in a 24/7 operation, including weekends. Shortlisted candidates need a current drivers licence, National Police Clearance by 16 October 2026, and must attend an assessment centre on 19 or 20 October

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Driver's Licence.
• Must provide National Police Clearance by 16 October 2026.
• Available to attend an assessment centre on 19 or 20 October 2026.
• Commencement date 23 November 2026.
• Physically fit, including ability to lift up to 30 kg.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather and shift work.

Responsibilities

• Secure containers on vessels (lash/unlash).
• Operate heavy equipment such as Straddle Carriers and forklifts (training provided).
• Work as part of a team to load and unload cargo safely.
