Job summary

Qube Ports is seeking individuals for shift work at Port of Adelaide. Responsibilities include loading and discharging general and bulk cargoes, operating machinery, and handling shipboard and wharf duties with a flexible, proactive approach.

The role requires a full manual driver’s licence and offers on-site work with varying shifts and training opportunities within a large, diverse port logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Full Manual driver’s licence required.
• High Risk License in Forklift, Dogging, Crane (highly regarded).
• Trade Qualification (highly regarded).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
• Demonstrated safety behaviours and experience.
• Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and discharge general and bulk cargoes.
• Operate machinery.
• Perform shipboard and wharf duties.
• Carry out basic clerical tasks.
