Job summary

Tibii QLD provides Supported Independent Living (SIL) support to adults with complex and high needs in Brisbane, Redlands and Bayside areas. Casual Support Workers perform in-home and community-based care, with flexible shifts and paid induction.

Team members follow participant plans, support mealtime safety and communication needs, and work to maintain dignity and independence in daily activities. Vehicle use may be required and shifts include evenings, weekends and overnights.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module is required.
• First Aid and CPR certificates are required or willingness to obtain before start.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful support with personal care and daily routines.
• Prepare and supervise food and fluids per mealtime-management plan.
• Implement each participant's Positive Behaviour Support Plan.
• Use low-arousal, visual and non-verbal communication supports.
• Build safe, respectful relationships with participants while maintaining boundaries.
• Complete shift notes and required records within deadlines.
• Support participants in the community with transport and activities.
