Job summary

Harris Farm Markets is hiring a Shop Assistant to help customers locate products, keep the store fresh and abundant, and join a team that loves good food and people. No experience is required as we’ll train you.

Bring a friendly attitude, pride in your work, and a love of great fresh food. Responsibilities include stocking, displaying, ensuring FIFO, and delivering excellent on-the-floor service while maintaining safety and store standards.

Responsibilities

• Filling and rotating stock to maintain full, fresh, and appealing displays
• Keeping the Back of House organised, clean, and well-managed
• Monitoring stock quality, dates, and rotation (FIFO)
• Maintaining excellent shelf management for accurate customer convenience
• Providing helpful, on-the-floor customer service
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
• Supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations
