• Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
• Employee Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain).
• 2 Covid-19 vaccinations along with 1 booster, and seasonal influenza vaccinations required.
• Experience working in security within a hospital or healthcare facility.
• 24/7 Availability.

Responsabilités

• Conduct internal and external patrols of hospital grounds, buildings, and high-risk wards to ensure security and safety.
• Monitor CCTV footage, investigate incidents as required, and respond promptly to alarm panels and duress devices, ensuring accurate reporting of all events.
• Manage access control and verify the identification of all individuals entering hospital premises.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff, including de-escalating volatile situations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.

About the Role: MSS Security is looking for Security Officers to join our team at a Paediatric Hospital. This role involves working across multiple areas of the hospital, including patrols, the control room, and high-risk wards. We are seeking candidates with prior hospital security experience who can operate confidently in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment, while maintaining the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires flexibility and availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster.

This position offers a Level 4 pay rate of $28.86 per hour, plus super and shift penalties where applicable.

Duties included but are not limited to:

• Conduct internal and external patrols of hospital grounds, buildings, and high-risk wards to ensure security and safety.
• Monitor CCTV footage, investigate incidents as required, and respond promptly to alarm panels and duress devices, ensuring accurate reporting of all events.

Requirements:

• Full Australian Working Rights

• Drivers License
• First Aid & CPR
