Job summary

St Joseph's School Atherton, part of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Cairns, is inviting applications to join a casual employment pool. The role supports student learning across periods of leave with 16 hours per week, term-time fixed-term contract from 23 January 2027 to 21 January 2028, and a SOF Level 3 hourly rate.

Salary ranges from $34.17 to $35.62 gross per hour. Closing date is 5.00pm, Tuesday 10 November 2026. Enquiries to the Principal, Rita Petersen.

• Assist student learning individually or in groups under supervision.
• Liaise between school, student and family within procedures.
• Support students with physical needs where discretion is involved.
• Maintain appropriate behaviours when engaging with children.
