Job summary

St Joseph's School Atherton is seeking applicants to join our casual employment pool to be called upon as required to cover periods of leave and provide student support. 16 hours per week, term-time, fixed-term; SOF Level 3 hourly rate $34.17–$35.62 gross.

Contract Dates: 23 January 2027 - 21 January 2028. Closing Date: 5.00pm, Tuesday 10 November 2026. Applicants must hold a Working with Children Blue Card and support the ethos of Catholic Education.

Qualifications

• Hold a Working with Children Blue Card.
• Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist student learning, individually or in groups.
• Liaise between the school, student and family.
• Assist teachers in preparing and supervising learning programs.
• Maintain appropriate behaviours when engaging with children.
• Support students with their physical needs as required.
