Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a School Crossing Supervisor for Bayside Local Council in Eastgardens, NSW. This casual, on-site role involves helping children cross roads safely and engaging with the local community.

You’ll work set morning and afternoon shifts during school terms, with hours 8:00–9:30 and 2:30–4:00, and receive an hourly rate with superannuation. Applicants must be 18+, and willing to obtain Working with Children, Police checks and a health assessment.

Qualifications

• Be community minded and reliable.
• Willingness to obtain Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Health Assessment.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist at school crossings during peak hours 8:00–9:30 and 2:30–4:00.
• Ensure children’s safety and communicate with motorists.
• Attend training, uniforms and equipment provided.
