Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a casual School Crossing Supervisor to support safety at crossings within the Canada Bay area. This on-site role requires reliability and a community-focused approach to protect students and pedestrians.

Shifts align with school hours, typically 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday during term time, with a minimum of one-hour shifts as needed. Training and safety equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age at time of appointment.
• Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Police Check and Health Assessment.
• Training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Relieve at school crossing sites in the Canada Bay Local Government Area.
• Shifts mainly during school hours 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday during school term.
• Provide a visible, trusted safety presence for students, families and road users.
