Job summary

Transport for NSW invites applications for a casual School Crossing Supervisor in the Port Stephens Local Government Area. You will help keep children safe at school crossings and be a friendly, reliable presence in the community, working during peak school hours.

Shifts run 8:00AM–9:30AM and 2:30PM–4:00PM, Monday to Friday during term time. Training, uniforms and equipment are provided, and the role offers an hourly rate with superannuation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older at appointment.
• Commitment to community safety and reliable attendance.
• Willingness to obtain Working with Children Check, Police Check and Health Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible safety presence at school crossings.
• Assist children and parents to cross roads safely.
• Be prepared to work in various weather conditions.
