Job summary

Subway Australia is hiring multiple Sandwich Artist positions at Kunda Park and Aussie World. Full training is provided and no previous experience is required, with opportunities to grow within Australia’s largest subway group.

Shifts include Morning, Day/Lunch and Evening; you will work as part of a team to deliver a high standard of service while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards. A friendly, positive attitude is valued and career pathways are available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food including bread and cookies.
• Maintain food storage and prep areas according to Health & Safety and Audit standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Operate tills and handle sales.
• Monitor stock levels and check deliveries.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
• Present a neat appearance in Subway uniform and maintain brand standards.
• Work as a collaborative team member.
• Deliver high standard of customer service and catering for needs.

• Day/Lunch staff
• Evening shift

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses. What’s more important is a winning attitude. If you’re currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studying or have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in the food industry. This could be the perfect opportunity for you!
