Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day operations and contribute to an inspiring in-store experience in Griffith, NSW. Reporting to the Area Manager, this casual role is based in Griffith, NSW with salary and conditions in accordance with the Retail General Industry Award, Level 1.

Responsibilities include retail sales and POS operations, sorting and pricing donations, assisting with visual merchandising, delivering excellent customer service and upholding

Qualifications

  • Retail sales experience is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Genuine passion and ability to deliver outstanding results.
  • Alignment with values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration and diversity.
  • High energy, hands-on with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibly to work a rolling roster including weekends.
  • Preparedness to work across various locations in the retail area.

An opportunity for a talented, values-driven Casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day operations and contribute to an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community members. Reporting to the Area Manager, this casual role is based in Griffith, NSW. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Retail General Industry Award, Level 1.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices
  • Sort, price and prepare donations for sale.
  • Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation
  • Provide exceptional Customer Service
  • Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure
