Job summary

Baby Kingdom in Sans Souci is seeking a friendly Casual Sales Assistant to help families find the right baby products. You will deliver excellent customer service, advise on products, assist with stock, and operate the POS system.

Shifts include Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10am–5pm, with breaks; immediate start available. This role involves standing and lifting, and training will be provided for the latest general retail award rates.

About the role

Baby Kingdom is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Casual Sales Assistant to join the growing team at our brand new Sans Souci store. If you want to help families find the perfect products for their little ones, this is the role for you!

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and product advice

• Assist with stock replenishment and merchandising

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment

• Operate point-of-sale systems and handle transactions

• Help unpack deliveries from our distribution centre and help load customers orders into their vehicles

About you

• Friendly and approachable personality

• Baby industry experience preferred but not essential

• POS / computer system / payment experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Passion for baby products and helping families

• Regularly standing and demonstrating bulky products such as prams.

This role involves regularly standing and lifting boxes. Please let us know if you require any adjustments to perform these tasks.

Available Shifts:

We are looking to fill the below shifts between 1 or 2 people: Let us know which days below you can work or if you can do all 4 days available.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 10am - 5pm.

Includes 2 x paid 10 mins breaks and 1 x unpaid 30 mins lunch break (as per general retail award).

Pay is based on the latest general retail award for Adults (21 or older):

Retail employee level 1: Casual Hourly Rate

Monday - Friday: $34.76

Saturday: $41.72

Sunday: $48.67

Public Holiday: $69.53
