Job summary

The Salvation Army in Coffs Harbour, NSW is looking for a Casual Sales Assistant to support daily operations and create an inspiring in-store experience for our team and customers. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role is casual and located in Coffs Harbour with pay and conditions in line with the Retail General Industry Award, Level 1.

The role covers POS operation, donation preparation, visual merchandising support, and delivering outstanding customer service while upholding TSA values.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Genuine passion and ability to deliver outstanding results.
• Alignment with our values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
• High energy, hands-on with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices.
• Sort, price and prepare donations for sale.
• Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Provide exceptional Customer Service.
• Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures.
• Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities.

An opportunity for a talented, values-driven Casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day operations and contribute to an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community members. Reporting to the Store Manager, this is a casual role, located in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Retail General Industry Award, Level 1.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices
• Sort, price and prepare donations for sale
• Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation
• Provide exceptional Customer Service
• Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities
