Job summary

The Salvation Army Australia is hiring a casual Sales Assistant in the Northern Suburbs, SA. You will support day-to-day operations, operate POS devices, price donations, and help maintain an appealing in-store experience for customers and the community.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this role requires flexibility across locations and a willingness to work weekends. Prior retail exposure and a passion for service will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Genuine passion and ability to deliver outstanding results.
• Alignment with our values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
• High energy, hands-on individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibly to work a rolling roster including weekends and across various locations in the retail area.

Responsibilities

• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices.

• Assist in developing and coordinating visual merchandising and store presentation.

• Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure.

About The Role
